Book Reports

Since 4th Graders are reading to learn, it is important that my students are reading quality text every day. Throughout the year I set book projects.  Although the reading and some preparation is completed at home, my students will be given time in class to assemble/complete their projects.

The reports and dates below are examples of the kind of book reports we may complete during the year.  You will be advised of these via the weekly Newsletter.

September: Sandwich Book Report

Genre: Fiction (Newbery Winner or Newbery Honor Book)

Please find the document that contains instructions and the individual elements to create your sandwiches below. I recommend printing the sandwich pieces on card stock so they will hold up to the abuse of presentations and remain intact while on display.  The first draft pages are for your project preparation.  I will collect in and grade the completed sandwich.
